What is Kustom Ammo
FAQ Page
What is Kustom Ammo?
Kustom Ammo is the only company that makes completely custom shotgun shells.. We do not change what is on the inside of the shell or hull, we only work with the outside design of the shell. We can take any design, picture or logo and put that on shotgun shells. It has been really interesting seeing all the different ways a shotgun shell can be used. We have done wedding gift shells, business cards, state flags and business logos. We specialize in shotgun shells but are looking into doing other types of ammunition.
Where did this idea come from?
After living in the south for a few years I started to realize that shotgun shells were starting to become an everyday thing around the house. This was a crazy idea to me at first then I found myself looking for different shells with designs online. After a nice long search, it becomes apparent that nobody sold shells with any type of custom work on them. This set me off on a journey that lasted a few years to make custom shotgun shells. I am proud that all of our products are designed and made in the USA. To get the best results, I take very specific steps to ensure top quality shells. The process we use is actually patent pending.
Can you shoot Kustom Ammo shells?
Yes. These are live rounds. While they make amazing gifts, they are real shotgun shells and can be fired. We have worked everyone from Migra Ammunitions to Winchester.
What type of ammo is Kustom Ammo?
We do not manufacture ammo, so all the ammo that we work with is purchased from a manufacturer. We have relationships with most of the big name companies and simply add the artwork to the shells.
What gauge can I order?
While custom 12 gauge is the most common order, we can also do 20 gauge and 410 gauge.
What shot size can I buy?
.
We can so any shot size from buck shot to 8 shot. We do our best to source your request but it is also dependent on what is available.
Can you make custom empty shells?
Yes. We get this request often. We are able to add the same kind of design process to empty hulls.
